AR Farmers Agency Food Drive
Food Drive will be hosted at Albertson’s Grocery Store on March 24 and 25 from 2pm - 6pm each day.
AR Farmers Agency Goal:
To collect at least 150lbs of food to distribute around Southern Nevada
To raise at least $100 to donate to 3 Sqaure ($100 will put 300 MEALS on the table for the people of our community, not to mention the food we will be raising!!!!)
Three Square’s Mission:
To provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community.
Three Square’s Vision:
- No one in our community should be hungry.
Southern Nevada Hunger Facts:
- One in six Southern Nevadans struggle with hunger – that’s more than 300,000 people in our community who don’t always have enough to eat
- More than 55% of Clark County School District students are enrolled in free meal programs
Three Square Facts:
- Three Square works with more than 650 Program Partners including non-profit and faith-based organizations, schools and feeding sites
- Three Square, through our Program Partners, serves nearly 100,000 individuals monthly
- More than 45,000 of those individuals are children
- Approximately 16,000 of those individuals are seniors
- Three Square distributed more than 24.9 million pounds of food and grocery product in 2011, the equivalent of 18 million meals
- Three Square has been in operation 4 years
